Sleep Studies
Special tests that monitor your breathing, vital signs and brainwaves while you sleep. They are instrumental in accurately diagnosing sleep disorders.
Polysomnography
In-Lab Sleep Study
Our sleep center rooms look like nice hotel rooms with all the amenities to help you feel at home during your sleep study.
Find out what to expect during a sleep study at ISC by clicking the button below. We’ve put together a great guide to help you prepare for your sleep study.
(HST)
Home Sleep Study
For those who may not initially qualify for an in-lab study, we have portable units for at-home sleep testing (HST). This test is not as comprehensive as an in-lab sleep study and many times requires additional follow up testing.
Treatment Therapies
If you are diagnosed with a sleep disorder, we have the latest treatment therapies available to help you gain your best sleep.
PAP Therapies
There are several forms of positive airway pressure (PAP) therapy.
PAP Therapy is the most common treatment for Obstructive or Central Sleep Apnea. The most common is CPAP. CPAP stands for continuous positive airway pressure. CPAP therapy involves wearing a special mask during sleep that facilitates normal breathing for sleep apnea patients.
All forms of PAP therapy keep your airway open as you sleep.
Non-CPAP Alternatives
Orofacial Myology
This is also known as myofunctional therapy and consists of neuromuscular re-education or re-patterning of oral and facial muscles to open your upper airways and improve breathing..
Surgical Options
When conservative measures fail to resolve sleep apnea, surgery can be helpful by removing the soft tissues that are collapsing your airway and causing your breathing difficulties.
(CBT-I)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia
This proven method for treating insomnia without sleeping pills is aimed at changing your sleep habits and behaviors, which interfere with healthy sleep and prolong your sleep difficulties. Participants in the recent National Institute of Health’s state-of-the science meeting on insomnia concluded that CBT-I is a safe, effective means of managing chronic insomnia and its effects.
CBT-I is extremely effective for patients who are committed to overcoming insomnia and willing to take active roles in therapy.
Oral Appliance Therapy
Oral appliances
are popular alternatives for sleep apnea and snoring patients. These are special mouthpieces that fit comfortably in your mouth during sleep and keep your airway open.
